Lots and lots of pictures to share with you today! We had a very busy end to the school year. I can not believe that my Trey will be in the 2nd grade next year! He is doing so well, and we are so proud of him!!!
The Friday night before school got out, we attended Cora Jane's kindergarten graduation. The kids put on a little show they called "Conversations on the Ark". Cora Jane was a lamb, and wore my costume that my aunt made me when I was a little girl. She is quite the performer and did an excellent job, as did all the kids!
The following Wednesday, Trey's class celebrated the end of school with a "Fun Day". The kids had a blast, and even flew a kite or two!
The following day was the last day of school. We attended Honor's Day. Trey received the Principal's Award for having a 97 or above average all year, an award for having all A's all year, the Bible Award, the Super Reader Award, and the Most Inquiring Award!
We got Trey's final report card last week, and he actually had a 99 year average in math and phonics. We also got his Stanford 9 test (the REALLY BIG test) results back and out of 358 questions he only missed 12! Plus, he scored on an 8th grade level in math! We are so proud of him and how hard he has worked this year!!!And...if you haven't already heard, I got a job teaching 4th grade next year at Trey's school!!! This is an answer to many, many prayers and we are all VERY EXCITED!!!
