Memorial Day Celebration 2014

One of my favorite holidays is Memorial Day.  That may be a strange favorite for some, but it is one of my favorites because Memorial Day means it's time for our big family get together at Aunt Dot and Uncle Kirby's!  We gathered early on the Saturday before Memorial Day and spent a fun day playing in the sun, enjoying each other's company, and indulging in some yummy bbq and other treats!

Memorial Day is all about family time for us and I love these kiddos and all their siblings so much!

The zip line is a favorite for all the kids!

Cousins, zip line, tree swing, baseball, swing, slide, sandbox, play kitchen, basketball, canoeing, frogging...
so much to do, so little time!

Spring Break: More Canoeing

As soon as we got home from the aquarium the boys were ready to hit the lake in the canoe again.  Jesse didn't last too long, but I think Trey would have stayed out there all night!

 

 

Spring Break: Playing in Hampton

On our way to Aunt Dot's we detoured through our old neighborhood for a quick trip down memory lane.  Then it was on to Aunt Dot & Uncle Kirby's where Trey quickly discovered the canoe.  He's been begging to canoe since learning how at Camp Rock Eagle last year and he spent hours paddling around the lake!  We also enjoyed some time on the tire swing!  Aunt Dot's house is always so much fun!

 

 

What a beautiful place to make memories with my babies!  So thankful for Aunt Dot and Uncle Kirby for opening up their home to us!
