The Afternoon

Even after playing hard all morning, the kiddies showed no signs of slowing down as the afternoon came! After wearing ourselves out with sword fighting, bike riding, and golf cart riding, we finally decided that it was warm enough for the slip 'n slide and water guns!!! They were so excited! Unfortunately, the excitement didn't last long, as the kiddos quickly decided that maybe it was too cold for water play...well all the kiddos but Jesse who wasn't about to let a little cold stop him!

Play Time

Friday morning, before, during, and after our family photos, the kiddos watched movies, rode bikes, fought with swords, and just generally had a grand time playing with each other!!! The Aunts...well, they spent their time fighting over our newest family member...and while there were some jabs thrown, they were all good natured...I think;-)

Trey's Exciting Day

The Thursday/Friday that our family was visiting was very exciting indeed for Trey! Not only did he lose another tooth...

But he learned how to ride his bike WITHOUT training wheels!!!

Mommy, Daddy, Ah-ee, and Papa had all tried unsuccessfully to get Trey to ride without his training wheels for quite a while now. It turns out that Aunt Cheri has the magic touch and she had Trey riding on two wheels in no time!

Photo Friday

The Friday that we were out for spring break we had a big family gathering at Mama and Mitchel's complete with oysters, crablegs, and shrimp!!! It was delicious to say the least. It was a wonderful day filled with lots of family, catching up, watching the kiddies play, and laughing!!! The weather was excellent, the food was scrumptious, and the company was awesome, who could ask for more???

The women of my family try to get together at least a few times throughout the year. Now comes the interesting part...trying to take a photo of "The Sisters" six grands that were present! Anyone who has ever tried to take a group photo of young children knows what a challenge it can be. I could try to describe our experience, but Mary has already done an excellent job of it right here...go check it out, there is no way I could top it!
