Hello from the Mother/Son Dance!

So it's been awhile and since my boys are growing up much faster than I would like, I thought I'd post a quick update before they are grown and gone :-)

We attended the 1st Annual Mother/Son dance in our little town this past weekend!  Jesse was beyond excited to go to this dance with Mama, Trey had to be convinced, but wound up having a pretty good time!  We all did and are already looking forward to next year!  And my babies clean up nice!  They looked very dapper in their dress duds and neither complained about wearing them!!!

Before we left I convinced my boys to stand still for a few photos.  I love these two so much and I love that they love being silly with each other!

 

Arise My Love in Photos

On Sunday night, May 4th, our S.H.I.N.E. group headed to First Baptist Church to perform their Arise My Love shadow drama.  It was another powerful performance that touched everyone there.  Trey is the soldier on the right side of the tomb.  He did a great job and I am so thankful that he is a part of this amazing group!

Our Easter

Heavy rains kept us from egg hunting at our annual church eggstravaganza, but we had a great time anyway!

The Easter Bunny was very good to the boys!

After church it was time for our family photos.  Our boys are growing up and we got three of the four to cooperate for a cousins picture.  And of course, we always have to have some silly photos!

After egg hunting, it was time to count our eggs and see what was inside!

Easter afternoon we visited with Grandma & Da and enjoyed a treasure hunt instead of an egg hunt!

Then it was time to paint our new crosses.

Coloring Eggs

Jesse's birthday party was on Good Friday, so Saturday was egg coloring day!  We were so happy that Whit was with us to share one of the boys' favorite Easter traditions.
