Celebrating Six

On April 14th, my precious baby boy turned SIX!  When asked what he wanted to do for his sixth birthday, he replied, “Fishing!”  So that is just what he did!  Jesse, Daddy, and Trey spent the whole day at the coast fishing while Mama prepared his special birthday supper at home.  Spaghetti and chocolate cupcakes with chocolate icing were just what the new six year old ordered!
  
The next day, we celebrated Jesse’s big day again, at Sunday lunch with Papa & Ay-ee.  This time ice cream cake was involved….Mommy’s favorite!!!

And we simply can’t have a birthday without celebrating at school!  So on Tuesday, April 17th, we had pizza and cupcakes for lunch!

And to round out our week of birthday celebrations we had to celebrate with all the Tyre’s.  So on Thursday we headed to El Poblano’s to celebrate one last time!

Our little man is extremely blessed to have so many family and friends that want to celebrate all his milestones with him.  Our lives certainly wouldn’t be the same without them…or without our JESSE!  Happy Birthday!  We love you so very much!

A Decade

On this day ten years ago, life was changed forever when I became a Mama!  It’s hard to believe that it’s been a whole decade.  One decade!  Wow!
