Hello from the Mother/Son Dance!

So it's been awhile and since my boys are growing up much faster than I would like, I thought I'd post a quick update before they are grown and gone :-)

We attended the 1st Annual Mother/Son dance in our little town this past weekend!  Jesse was beyond excited to go to this dance with Mama, Trey had to be convinced, but wound up having a pretty good time!  We all did and are already looking forward to next year!  And my babies clean up nice!  They looked very dapper in their dress duds and neither complained about wearing them!!!

 

 

 

 

 

GLOW Run

On May 16th, after we got home from the Go Fish Center, Trey went to a Boy Scouts campout, and Jesse, Daddy, and Mommy went to the Midnight GLOW run at the YMCA in Waycross.  Daddy and Jesse did the one mile run at 11:00 and then went to Krystal's while Mommy did the 5K at midnight.  I don't know that I will ever do another one...running around Waycross in the middle of the night is a little disconcerting...but I am glad to say that I did it at least once!

 I am discovering that I am NOT a runner but that I CAN do it and I CAN complete a 5K and that I LOVE running with my boys and making these memories!

Before we left I convinced my boys to stand still for a few photos.  I love these two so much and I love that they love being silly with each other!

 

Give Wildlife a Chance!

After our trip to Atlanta in April I had planned to come home and finish up our school year without any more trips.  However, we were notified that Jesse placed 2nd in the GDNR Give Wildlife a Chance poster contest and that his poster would be on display at the Go Fish Center in Perry, so of course we had to go see it!  I looked up information online, found out that they would be having a homeschool program on Friday, May 16th, and made plans to attend.
