Fall is always busy around here and this year is no exception. I love all the fun family times that this season brings. Here are a few photos from the 3rd Annual McRae Fall Festival & Trunk or Treat! We had a great time, as always! Trey won the pumpkin carving contest for the second year in a row! He carved the owl pumpkin and while he did use a stencil, he did everything from cutting out the top to cutting out the design all by himself. I am so proud of him, although I do hate how fast he is growing up! This was Jesse's first pumpkin carving contest and he mostly did his on his own too. I thought he did a great job on his vampire jack o' lantern! And I was tremendously proud of my "trunk" and both boys loved helping to spray paint our pumpkin!

It’s a popcorn party, Charlie Brown!

On Friday, October 28th, Jesse’s class celebrated fall with a popcorn tasting party. There was a variety of popcorns to try, including my favorite, chocolate covered popcorn…YUMMY! The highlight for the kids however was popping regular popcorn with the Scooby Doo air popper. I’ve got to find us one of these:-)

Once all the kids had their various popcorns to taste, we watched It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown. It was a great way to wrap up the week.

Poppell’s Pumkin Patch, Take One

On October 23rd, we made our annual trek to Poppell’s Pumpkin Patch. It’s always a good time and also a little heart-wrenching to realize how much my babies have grown since the previous year.
