1, 2, 3, 4, 5, once I caught a fish alive...

My hubby can be the most aggravating, annoying, frustrating man to ever walk the face of the earth. In fact, sometimes, he tries to see just how much he can aggravate, annoy, and frustrate me. However, my hubby can also be the most wonderful, amazing, fantastic man to ever walk the face of the earth. And no matter which man he is being at the time, I am so thankful to call him mine! And yesterday, he fell solidly into the amazing catergory. Yesterday morning he got up bright and early to take these four boys (aged 9 and under) fishing. In the boat. By himself. For SIX hours! I told you that he is amazing! And the boys. Two of them are experienced fishermen. Two of them had never been fishing before. And ALL of them were beside themselves with excitment!

They fished all morning and hauled in quite a catch! The best part of the day though is the memories that were made! I don't think it is a day that any of them will soon forget!
God is good! ALL the TIME!

God's Creation

We spent today in paradise. We were blessed with a beautiful day enjoying God's magnificent creation with good friends. And we had it all to ourselves. We don't get many days like this, but today was simply perfection.

Outnumbered

Vacations are always more fun when you share them with friends! And with FIVE kids (& only two adults) in this condo, we sure are staying busy! When at the condo we have Wii games, DS games, and movies going on. Not to mention eating. Lots and lots of eating! And staying up late doesn't mean sleeping in with these FIVE. We're up early hitting the beach and playing (& getting a lil burnt) until we're about ready to drop! But drop we do not. Because today CARS 2 was released...so tonight we hit the mall & the movie theater! Yes, we sure are staying busy. And having a blast doing it. I wonder what adventures we will get into tomorrow!

Wildlife Trails

After lunch, we braved the smoke and the heat to BRIEFLY explore the Department of Natural Resources "Earth Day Trails" located just under the big bridge. It was a beautiful place for photos but unfortunately the extreme heat must have kept all the animals in hiding. We'll have to return one day when it's not quite so hot. Or smokey!
