Once we arrived on Mud Island, our first stop was the Mississippi River Museum. Trey is definitely my history buff and took his time going through all the exhibits reading everything!
Jesse was much less interested in reading about all the artifacts. He raced through the museum.
Yes, Jesse raced and Trey went very slowly. That is, until we reached the part of the museum that is comprised of two full size boat replicas. Now that slowed Jesse down!

Trey especially liked the section on the Civil War.
The aquarium with fish of the Mississippi was also a big hit with my guys! But it was awfully dark and murky (much like the Mississippi, I’m sure), making it hard to see.
We definitely enjoyed our time at the Mississippi River Museum!
