On June 10th, Troy & Jacob Landry from the History channels Swamp People, visited Benton Lee’s and my boys insisted that we had to go!
We waited in this enormously long line through the heat and the rain for 3+ hours! Unfortunately, Troy and Jacob had a plane to catch and we didn’t make it inside to actually meet the duo.
However, they graciously came out on the porch and apologized to all those left standing in line. All three of us got to shake their hands.
Troy even spoke to Jesse. It wasn’t an ideal ending to our long wait, but the boys said that it was definitely worth it!
We love us some swamp people in this house.
And in this house, Troy will always be King of the Swamp!
