Blue & Gold Cakes

Trey & Jesse both joined Scouts back in November.  Turns out we joined at one of the busiest times of the year and we've been super busy earning belt loops, badges, and ranks and going on campouts for the last three months.  After all their hard work they were super excited and super ready for the their first big awards ceremony at the Blue and Gold Banquet on February 8th.  One of the major events of the Blue and Gold Banquet is the cake auction.  Each Scout bakes and decorates a cake with their Daddy and then the cakes are auctioned off with monies going towards activities that the Scouts participate in.  The auction was a huge success, raising over $1,300!
