When I grow up...

Friday was Career Day in Trey's class. The students got to dress up as what they want to be when they grow up and parents came in to talk about their jobs. Trey has lots of ideas as to what he wants to be when he grows up...a scientist, archaeologist, robot builder, missionary, and more. Unfortunately, these are all hard jobs to dress up as. We went with archaeologist and Trey wore his safari hat and took a magnifying glass and small hammer. Trey also wanted his Daddy to come in and talk for Career Day. Now Phil wears a lot of hats...he's a hay farmer, chairman of the Development Authority, and serves on several other boards around town and he talked about all these. He also entertained the students with the one story that Trey really wanted him to tell.....how the hay baler caught on fire the other day! However, Phil said that the story that got the most attention was the one about a tractor falling on a good friend of the family recently and breaking his legs! I guess his talk was more along the lines of "Farmer Safety Tips"!
