A few days after kindergarten worked on their quilt, fourth grade headed to the library to work on theirs. Their theme this year was a gingerbread Christmas village and they all got into decorating their squares.
The kids did a wonderful job and the quilt turned out just beautiful! This quilt is extra special to me because not only did Trey paint two of the squares but it is my 2011-2012 class quilt. Plus, we have known most of these students for 5-6 years, since Trey was in PreK or K. And I am very blessed that this quilt came home with us! It will serve as a reminder in the years to come of what a special year this has been.
