While we are still experiencing summer like temperatures all the way at the end of November, we actually haven’t been swimming in about 6 weeks. Although my boys ask about swimming almost daily. And this past Tuesday, Jesse actually went out and tested the water. Thankfully he decided that it was just too cold to swim. However, we did a lot of swimming this past summer. Most of the time it was in Papa & Ah-ee’s new pool. And this past 4th of July. Well, it was a special one. Why? Because it was the very first time the new pool got used!
We spent July 3rd celebrating with our family at Aunt Dot & Uncle Kirby’s. That night we went to the fireworks and then returned and spent the night at their house. The next morning the boys couldn’t wait to get wet. I mean, it’s not actually a 4th of July without water, right?
Once the boys were dried off and dressed it was time to head home. The boys were so excited to be heading home and heading towards Papa & Ah-ee’s new pool! They couldn’t wait to jump in and try it out.
After such an exciting the day, the boys were tuckered out…
However, the next morning they were up and at ‘em & couldn’t wait to get back to the new pool!
